WHAT IS NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
Learn the language of your subconscious mind
More commonly known as NLP, Neuro-linguistic programming is a psychological approach designed to alter someone's thinking, reasoning, and behavioral patterns to help achieve their desired results. The method entails applying deep-rooted analyses, proven strategies, and practical steps to reach pre-set goals in one's personal or professional life. NLP is a comprehensive combination of beliefs, language, and behaviors learned by means of prior experiences to accomplish some specific outcomes.
Since its introduction in the latter part of the 20th century, neuro-linguistic programming has grown in popularity and widespread practice. It has proven to be particularly useful for treating various phobias and multiple anxiety-related disorders and personal and professional satisfaction, growth, and happiness.
How it works
Modeling, action, and effective communication
The brain is the unique organ in every individual that works differently in every person. Contributing factors to your thought process may include multiple things from upbringing to education to exposure and ultimately to your goals. However, there are some things that we know work.
The key elements of neuro-linguistic programming techniques are modeling a behavior, replicating the actions, and communicating it to others. Looking at it, you realize how beautifully simple this idea is. We all have our role models. We all know some success stories. We do not have the training and skills to identify & isolate their keys to success and replicate those in our lives.
That is why we have NLP Practitioners.
What does NLP do?
Simply put, NLP works to rewire the subconscious brain with psychological techniques to attain a certain mindset that is specifically pragmatic to the desired consequences.
-
The practice of NLP employs various techniques to modify as well as transform perceptions, behaviors, and communication strategies to facilitate people in the process of adapting their thoughts and ultimately, subsequent actions.
-
NLP works to engage and adjust language processing with your mind. The language processing here is not the same as natural language processing but a way to communicate clearly with your own brain.
-
It also helps gather, determine, and identify the effective thought patterns and behaviors of high-achieving individuals and inculcate them into other people's brains in need.

How is NLP good for you?
NLP works with YOU and Your individual mind. NLP mustn't be confused with hypnotherapy, which is another therapeutic technique working with the unconscious mind. This is a conscious effort, operating through the cognizant use of language to rework your outlook, mindset, and behavior to break free of your own roadblocks.
-
As we know them, individuals go through life guided by their internal "maps" of the world they have learned through their senses and personal experiences. NLP helps distinguish and adjust some unconscious limitations or hard-set principles in your mental map of reality.
-
NLP has been successfully applied to achieve professional success with work-related goals. It has been known to improve productivity or job growth in many cases.
-
Most of the time, NLP has proven successful as a therapy for a range of psychological disorders, including phobias, depression, generalized anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
